Although this hotel promised much when viewed online it proved to be a disappointment. Perhaps the decor was supposed to be enigmatic in the corridors and rooms; I found it to be uninviting - lots of black walls, doors and poorly maintained. (broken window blinds; dirty curtains; cupboard and wardrobe doors had been 'updated' using stick-on wood-grain plastic (type Fablon) which was peeling off; laptop safe was not function and was replaced when I reported it but not secured to a shelf or wall. WC dripping continually and fawcett not working properly Only basic local TV channels not satellite as previously advertised. Room cleaning was below par and consisted of 'tidying' bedlinen and leaving some teabags/coffee sachets. I had to seek out a member of cleaning staff to ask for a roll of toilet paper. The breakfast restaurant reminded one of a works canteen, with scraping of metal seats and tables not wiped down. Not particularly pleasant. The food offering and quality was average. Following a discussion with the management I received a refund for the remainder of my stay and found a room at a much better hotel nearby. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

- Smooth Check In & Friendly Night Shift staffs - Small car park area with construction work going on (1st come 1st serve) - Room 909 , Windows not sealed, danger for kids - Room & curtain full of dust - Mini Bar not cold - Blurry TV - No towels provided in the room, requested for it and got smelly towels - No toothbrush & toothpaste provided - They have ironing room at 2 floors, no fan or AC in that room :( - Stayed for 2 nights, the HK staff came to make up the room, however, they only sweep the floor ! - Overall , you get wat you pay :)

The nice things- bed is comfy, nice tiling on the bathroom, good shower pressure. Apart from that expect a flooded room when showering, poor customer service and a disease ridden pool. Furthermore on the pool safety rules there is a mummified decapitated gecko, need I say more. The pool also has cigarette buts and plasters surrounding it suggesting this area has not been cleaned in a large period of time. Not only this but you only get one room key which ensures you walk back in to your own personal sauna if you have been out for the day. Front desk refused to give us another towel to go to the pool with which meant after a shower you had to dry yourself in bacteria from the pool. My friend also proclaimed an injury when entering the pool as there were shards of rock coating the bottom, now left with a flesh wound hobbling around the city. Apart of this it was a pleasurable stay.

Fire alarm went off. 10-15 of us followed the fire exit signs, but once in the stairwell, were unable to find our way out. No signs in the stairwell as to where to go - ended up in the basement. Eventually found the ground floor through trial-and-error, opening each door, where the fire exit was barred with a wooden baton. Member of staff saw us and told us we weren't allowed out that way, even though they still didn't know why the alarm had gone off. Eventually staff decided that "Someone might have been smoking" and turned off the alarm. Clearly unsafe in case of emergency. Avoid this hotel.
